The Power Unit

These power units are specially designed by us to lift hardtops! Take your pick between corded or remote! Features include: New Compact design, Smooth wrapping 1.5 inch seatbelt strap, steel gear break system, SLOW speed up and down(1/4 speed of typical units), safety auto shutoff, all copper electrical components. Corded remote option has a 6 foot cable. Wireless version comes with remote that works with 2 AA. For all Motor Specs see the bottom of the page.

Easy To Install

We've made installation as easy as it can be. Find your studs and install three lag screws, tighten two nuts, clip on your lifting straps and your winch is installed and ready to lift. Comes with written instructions and a QR code for video installation guidance. Click here for more information on the installation.

How It Lifts

Made from 12 gauge steel and rubber coated, the Truck Shell Lifting Bracket is sturdy and practical. The spacer portion of the bracket goes between the skirt (that part that hangs down and covers the seam) and the base rail of the top, protecting the edges of your valuable top. Lifing approved hardware attaches quickly for ease of use. You provide the 2x4, cut to your tops width, and we provide the rest.  

 

Will It Fit Your Top?

Ajustable lifting straps insure a perfect fit for whatever top you have. Not only does the Hoist-A-Top for Truck remove your shell, but there is no need to find space somewhere else to store it. Your shell will safely hang up out of the way for as long as you need.

How much room do I need on my ceiling?

Rear bumper of your vehicle can be as close as 6 inches from the back wall. The distance between the lifting cables can be varried depending on the size of your top.

How close can you get to the ceiling?

About 1 Foot.

In Many installations the garage door opens under the front of the hardtop.
